How to Use Cognition Lib

Cognition Lib provides an online editor to edit an ERTS script. For testing the script, click on RUN. This will launch the experiment in a preview window.

In case of syntax errors, this window will list the errors together with the line number within your script. You will also find the error messages embedded in the online editor. You can click on an error message to remove it once you fixed the error or simply re-run the script after fixing errors.

Once the script is complete and without errors, you will see the experiment running in the preview window. You can close this window any time to return to the editor.

For collecting data you need a Cognition Lab subscription. Within Cognition Lab, choose ‘Custom ERTS Script’ as the test paradigm and on the configuration screen copy/paste the script into the editor window.
