Synchronized Rendering Mode

In synchronized mode (see SETSYNC command), visual presentation commands will be queued and rendered when the next screen refresh begins. The rendered image will be visible not before the next screen refresh. This synchronization results in a delay of min one screen refresh or max two screen refresh cycles. With active synchronization, the reaction time measurement will be automatically adjusted to reflect the actual onset of the image. If synchronized rendering mode is active, the onset of auditory stimuli will also be synchronized with the visual screen refresh to align with visual presentation.
